Bon Bon Buddies, the character-licensed novelty confectionery company, has acquired the assets and intellectual property of Kshocolât, which also encompasses the Hot Choc brand.

Kshocolât products include premium boxed chocolates, bars and luxury drinking chocolate, which sell in retailers such as John Lewis, Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser and Waitrose, as well as having International presence in more than 20 export markets.

Bon Bon Buddies will add the Kshocolât range to its portfolio, which also includes the recent acquisition, TeePee Creative (acquired from the administrators of Mr Lucky Bags). TeePee Creative features a range of character-licensed surprise bags, cones, surprise eggs and plush toys with confectionery.

In addition, BBB launch a new everyday range to U.K. and European customers this year. The 45 products feature Twilight, Hello Kitty, Disney Princess, Fairies, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Cars, Toy Story, Littlest Pet Shop, Spiderman and SpongeBob.

"Both Kshocolât and TeePee are strong brands with potential for further growth," says Chris Howarth, managing director of Bon Bon Buddies. "With our extensive license portfolio and successful European market presence we are looking forward to maximizing many exciting new opportunities."
