Social enterprise organization The Big Issue has appointed Global Icons to lead its licensing efforts in the U.K.

The Big Issue works to end poverty and exclusion by creating opportunities through self-help, social trading and business solutions. Global Icons will work closely with the charity to identify consumer product licensing deals.
“The awareness and support that already exists for The Big Issue presents many opportunities across many categories across publishing, home and gift, garden and household goods,” says David Williams, managing director, Global Icons Europe. “The exciting challenge of recruiting new fans will take us into apparel, H&B and live event categories, and we are keen to begin discussions with strategic partners in these areas”.
