"Basil and Barney's Swap Shop" Returns to CBBC in 2010

The Foundation, part of the RDF Media Group, has announced that CBBC has re-commissioned "Basil and Barney's Swap Shop" for a third 26 x 60 series and will return to CBBC on BBC Two live in 2010.

Basil Brush will get the nation's kids swapping again on CBBC, with co-star Barney Harwood, best known for CBBC's "Prank Patrol" and "Bear Behaving Badly."

"Basil and Barney" offers kids the chance to swap the stuff they don't want for the stuff they do. Kids can join in the swapping live on the show and throughout the week via the Web site. There will be celebrities in the studio swapping stuff and a new feature, where experts will swap their skills, from cup-stacking and BMXing to beat-boxing.
