“Black Ice,” the upcoming AC/DC album, will retail only at Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club stores.
The album releases on Oct. 20 and also will only be available on the band’s Web site, retailing at $11.88.
Sony BMG’s Columbia Records, AC/DC’s record label negotiated the deal with Wal-Mart.
Other bands, such as The Eagles and Journey also have previously sold exclusive albums through Wal-Mart.
