With so many in our community impacted by the devasting wildfires in Los Angeles (L.A.) License Global wanted to echo Licensing International’s message of support and share the resources they have listed for those affected.
We are devastated for L.A. and are keeping you all in our thoughts. There are no words to describe the immense loss our friends, families and colleagues face in the area. We hope to offer you our support and help through this time.
To our global community, here are some local organizations asking for assistance:
American Red Cross: To provide food and shelter to those impacted by emergencies.
California Fire Foundation: To provide emotional and financial assistance to firefighters, families of fallen firefighters and their communities.
Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation: To provide equipment and programs to support the LAFD.
The CCF’s Wildfire Recovery Fund: The California Community Foundation is collaborating with local foundations and nonprofit organizations to provide emergency aid to survivors and first responders.
Please continue to check back with Licensing International for an updated list.
From License Global, we wish everyone in L.A. safety.
In response to the fires, Funko is launching a limited-edition Pop! T-shirt in support of Americares, an organization dedicated to providing lifesaving care to those most affected.
Rebuild & Renew Teams with Brand Central to Support LA Community Affected by California Wildfires
Members of the brand licensing industry are coming together to support the launch of Rebuild & Renew, a community-driven initiative to support those affected by the ongoing California wildfires.
Rebuild & Renew is a free pop-up boutique where individuals and families can “shop” for clothing and essentials in a warm, welcoming environment.
Licensing agency Brand Central has partnered with Rebuild & Renew to lead the effort with potential vendors and manufacturers. “By offering a retail-like experience, we aim to restore dignity and confidence for those affected, whether they need professional attire, outfits for special occasions, or everyday activewear,” says Ross Misher, chief executive officer, Brand Central.
Rebuild & Renew will be open by appointment for up to three months, providing personalized assistance from volunteer stylists. Every donation will support creating a space filled with compassion and support.
