Licensing Vet Elisa Gangl Joins Brand Liaison

The Brand Liaison has announced the addition of licensing industry veteran, Elisa Gangl, to handle manufacturer representation and special projects for Brand Liaison clients including inbound and outbound licensing initiatives. 

“We are so thrilled to have someone with Elisa’s skill sets, know-how and incredible relationships," says Steven Heller, president, The Brand Liaison. “She has been such a staple in this industry for such a long time and has worked with virtually every major studio and every major fashion brand.” 

Gangl has spent the better part of the past two decades as vice president, licensing and marketing, SG Companies, a footwear and apparel company, where she managed dozens of brands in children’s entertainment, fashion and corporate brands including Disney, Universal, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros., LEGO, “Sesame Street,” Harley-Davidson, Levi’s, PVH, Perry Ellis, Russell Athletics, Chinese Laundry and Rachel Roy. 

Prior to SG, Elisa held several senior-level roles on the licensor side, culminating as vice president for Copyrights America spearheading U.S. operations. During that time, she was responsible for marketing and brand strategy for 10 licenses with more than 75 licensees and built North American programs for “Maisy,” “Paddington Bear,” “Peter Rabbit” by Beatrix Potter and other global brands.
