Licensing Expo Reveals Ignite Brand Pitches Selected Brands

New program aims to get industry eyes on our existing exhibitors newest IP’s or innovations.

Licensing Expo is hosting an all-new program, Ignite Brand Pitches at Licensing Expo, June 13-15, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.  

Open to all signed Licensing Expo exhibitors with existing licensing portfolios, Ignite Brand Pitches provides five brand owners the opportunity to pitch new and upcoming brands in front of a live audience at Licensing Expo to provide them with a platform and generate buzz for their newest IP. The full lineup of participating brands can be found below.   

When: Tuesday, June 13, 3:30-4:15 p.m.   

Where: License Global Theater, Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas.   

Participating Brands:  

Blanca Pictures, booth B135  

Liliya Belaya, co-founder, chief executive officer, executive producer, Blanca Pictures, will pitch “GINJI,” a 2D animated series aimed to teach children values such as friendship, respect for others and the environment, tolerance, purposefulness, teamwork and honesty. Blanca Pictures is an animation studio with more than 150 creatives, working across three continents, that produces original young adult and children’s scripted edutainment content.  

Comedy Wildlife, booth G87  

Tom Sullam, director, Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, will pitch Comedy Wildlife, a photography competition licensing the world’s funniest and most heartwarming images of wildlife to raise awareness and start conversations around animal welfare.

King Features, booth Q259  

Ilkka Lind, sales director, Rights & Brands, in association with King Features, will pitch Moomin, central characters in a series of novels, short stories and a comic strip by Finnish writer and illustrator, Tove Jansson, featuring the core qualities of love, equality and courage. Moomin, an international phenomenon in licensing, has been the basis for numerous television series, films and even theme parks.  

Unicorn Jazz, booth A199  

“Be Bold, Be Brave” with Lisa Caprelli, Unicorn Jazz Latina author, as she presents a pitch for Unicorn Jazz, a children’s edutainment brand that sparks creativity and imagination while evoking positive emotions. With a mission to inspire young minds from birth to age 12, Unicorn Jazz focuses on love, kindness, confidence and uniqueness. Experience the InspireEd Program, connecting with elementary schools through author visits, a TV Show and puppetry. Engage in our world of creative storytelling, music, arts and a cast of diverse animal characters.  

Zoonicorn, booth D204  

J'net Smith, executive producer and director, Zoonicorn, will pitch Zoonicorn, a preschool entertainment property with a focus on optimism and resilience, the foundation of all social-emotional learning. Partnered with Toonz Media Group, Zoonicorn enjoys worldwide distribution and an expanding licensing footprint.
