
The weeklong event will aim to maximize licensing professionals’ time in Las Vegas with a raft of educational and networking events, business opportunities and more.

The weeklong program has been expanded to include new and returning educational and networking events surrounding the annual show. New offerings include a full slate of business-building opportunities for attendees and exhibitors, which are designed to enable licensing professionals to take full advantage of their time in Las Vegas.
New additions this year include industry events, networking opportunities, exclusive parties and invitation-only Entertainment Showcases.
First, the invitation-only Entertainment Showcases will debut on the first day of Licensing Week, May 22 at 9 a.m., and will provide participating companies with the opportunity to feature upcoming projects and properties. Companies hosting private Showcases during the week include Cartoon Network Enterprises, Disney Consumer Products
Meanwhile, Licensing Expo, which is sponsored by the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association, will remain the centerpiece of the week, taking place May 23-25. The show floor will host more than 5,000 brands from all categories and countries.
New exhibitors for the 2017 show include Scott Living/The Scott Brothers, Dezign Your Mind and Amazon Studios, among others. Returning exhibitors also include Authentic Brands Group, CBS Consumer Products, Edge Americas Sports, J!nx and more.

Other key components of Licensing Week include the Opening Keynote from Cole Gahagan, chief commercial officer of Fanatics; an Orientation Session; Licensing University; the Matchmaking Service; the Opening Night Party; an Art & Design Mixer; an Agents’ Business Forum; the annual LIMA International Licensing Awards and the Women in Toys Breakfast, among others.
