
Three top retailers will share insights into their merchandising strategies at the conference and networking event.

The NYC Licensing Summit will take place March 2-3 at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square. Last year’s event sold out, so executives are encouraged to book their tickets soon.
British multi-national retailer Tesco, which has 6,902 doors in 11 countries around the world that bring in more than $81 billion in retail revenue, is the ninth largest retailer in the world, according to the Top 250 Global Retailers 2017 report, published by Deloitte and the National Retail Federation. Rachel Wakely, head of licensing at Tesco, will offer first-hand insights into the retailer’s merchandising strategy and the role licensing plays for the company worldwide.

In addition, Eric Morse, divisional vice president of licensing, marketing and product development at Spencer Gifts’ Spirit Halloween, will provide insight into the unique proposition of specialty retail and the phenomenal growth and popularity of the concept.
