Brand Licensing Europe has opened registration for its 19th annual event, which will host a raft of new exhibitors and visitor attractions.

BLE is the largest licensing event in Europe. Organized by UBM, and sponsored by the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association, this year’s show will take place Oct. 10-12 at the Olympia in London.

Visitors to this year’s show will be able to take part in the new Gaming Activation Area, which will serve as an interactive space for video game demos and competitions, as well as highlight the potential of gaming at retail, from concept to store.

Sony Interactive Europe, SEGA, Capcom, Activision Blizzard, King and The Pokémon Company are among the global gaming companies that have signed on to exhibit this October.

BLE will also feature an expanded Brands & Lifestyle Theatre Programme, which will include more sessions every day, as well as interactive performances and demonstrations each morning and a revamped Product Showcase.

Additionally, BLE will boast its biggest sports lineup to-date, with exhibitors including FIFA, Juventus F.C., Dakar, Tour de France, PSG, Rugby World Cup 2019, Dorna Sports and Kitkase.

“We are so excited to be rolling out these new initiatives for visitors to BLE in October,” says Anna Knight, brand director, BLE. “Gaming is a huge untapped market–one we know our visitors will really benefit from discovering. And this year’s educational program is our most comprehensive yet–unmissable for both buyers and manufacturers whether new to, or already familiar with, the power of licensing in business.”

Last year’s BLE was the biggest in the show’s history with more than 280 exhibitors and 7,578 visitors from 76 countries. For 2017, 194 exhibitors have already signed on, including Twentieth Century Fox, BBC Worldwide Consumer Products, CPLG, Endemol Shine U.K., Emoji Company, Hasbro, ITV Studios Global Entertainment, Mattel, NBCUniversal, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, The Pokémon Company, Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe, Sony Pictures Consumer Products, Turner Broadcasting, Ty and Victoria and Albert Museum.
