With registration now officially open and its first speakers just announced, License Global has announced two more speakers for the second annual NYC Licensing Summit scheduled for March 2-3, 2017 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square.

Two prominent executives, who will be part of a special panel discussion on location-based entertainment, which continues to expand and become a more critical component and growth opportunity for major brand franchises, are:

  • Amy Kule, executive producer, parade and fireworks, and group vice president annual events and partnership marketing, Macy’s

  • Lisa Silverman Meyers, senior vice president, operations and business planning, Nickelodeon Viacom Consumer Products

They join previously announced speakers Ken Wyse, president, licensing, PVH Corp., the world’s third largest licensor, and Perry Wolfman, chief executive office, CAA–GBG, the world’s largest licensing agency. Additional speakers will soon be added to the roster.

Exclusive sponsors of the NYC Licensing Summit include:

  • Platinum sponsor Concept One Accessories, headed by chief executive officer Sam Hafif.

  • Silver Sponsors include Fadel, Uware Brands and Octane5.

Additional sponsorships are still available. Click here for more details.

The exclusive networking event, which attracted almost 400 licensing industry executives and featured 20 notable speakers earlier this year, will again focus on the business of brand licensing with a high-profile roster of speakers across fashion, entertainment, sports and corporate brands. Topics will range from global business opportunities and the changing world of entertainment to the influence of celebrity licensing and sports licensing to new fashion trends and the growth of location-based entertainment, what’s hot at retail and what Wall Street thinks about it all. The event will take place at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square.

“The overwhelming response and success of the first ever NYC Summit will undoubtedly carry over to the 2017 event,” says Tony Lisanti, global editorial director, License Global, and moderator of the NYC Summit. “It will once again be a must-attend event for licensing executives and retailers who want to meet industry insiders and who want to know the latest trends and insights that will drive new business opportunities in 2017 and beyond.”

Registration is now open. Visit www.licensemag.com/nyc-summit to get more details and to register.
