Three new powerhouse speakers to participate in exclusive brand licensing conference.

NYC Licensing Summit has announced three new speakers–Mike Sepso of Activision Blizzard Media Networks, Jill Tully of A+E Networks Brand Licensing and Peter Yoder of Cartoon Network Enterprises–who will address the hot topics of e-sports, children's franchise properties and location-based entertainment.

The second annual NYC Licensing Summit will take place March 2-3 at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square.

Sepso is senior vice president of the media division of the interactive entertainment company Activision Blizzard and co-founder of Major League Gaming, which was acquired by Activision Blizzard in January 2016. As a pioneer in the genre of e-sports, Sepso will discuss the exploding potential in the world of competitive gaming and its implications for the licensing industry.

Tully, vice president at A+E Networks Brand Licensing, will round out the panel focused on another hot topic–location-based entertainment. Joining Tully on the panel will be the previously announced speakers Amy Kule of Macy's Parade and Lisa Silverman Meyers of Nickelodeon Viacom Consumer Products.

Meanwhile, Yoder, who serves as vice president at Cartoon Network Enterprises, will offer insights into the rapidly changing landscape of children's television.

Sepso, Tully and Yoder join an elite lineup of executives participating in the conference and networking event, which also includes:

  • Eric Beder, managing director of equity research at Wunderlich Securities

  • Dell Furano, founder and CEO, Epic Rights

  • Robert D'Loren, chairman and CEO of Xcel Brands

  • Jamie Stevens, executive vice president of worldwide consumer products, Sony Pictures Entertainment

  • Perry Wolfman, chief executive office of CAA–GBG, the world’s largest licensing agency

  • Ken Wyse, President of Global Licensing and PR at PVH Corp., the world's third largest licensor.

Tickets are now on sale for the annual event: $995 for LIMA members (contact your LIMA representative for the promo code) and $1095 for all others. Space is limited and last year's event sold out, so interested parties are encouraged to secure tickets early. Additional speakers will be announced soon.

The NYC Summit is developed by License Global magazine, part of UBM's Global Licensing Group, also organizer of Licensing Expo and Brand Licensing Europe, and in partnership with the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA), the industry’s leading trade organization. This year's sponsors include Platinum Sponsor Concept One Accessories and Silver Sponsors Uwär? Brands and Octane5.
