Nickelodeon's Hicks and Schneider

This year's MIPJunior conference program features a slate of keynote addresses from leaders in the industry.

Highlights include:

  • Hasbro's Stephen Davis, executive vice president and chief content officer, will deliver the opening MIPJunior address on Saturday at 4:45 p.m., focusing on the company's transformation into a 360-degree entertainment provider.
    • The "360° Approach of Licensing," moderated by Tony Lisanti, global editorial director of License! Global will take place on Sunday at 11:15 a.m. This session will also feature Andrea Carpenter, senior director global content strategy and distribution, home entertainment and new media at Mattel U.K.; and Céline Georges, marketing manager, retail, kids' properties rights and international development, TF1 Licences, France.
      • Russell Hicks, president of content development and production at Nickelodeon and content creator Dan Schneider, the man behind some of Nickelodeon’s biggest hits including "iCarly," "Victorious," "Sam & Cat," "Henry Danger" and the upcoming "Game Shakers," will discuss success in the kids' sector. The session will take place Sunday at 11:45 p.m. and will be moderated by Worldscreen executive editor Kristin Brzoznowski. 
        • YouTube's global head of family and learning, Malik Ducard, will address new opportunities for producers and creators to engage kids and families on Sunday at 4 p.m.
