The Licensing Expo opening night party is shaping up to be quite an event, with tickets sold out and a slate of top-tier sponsors signed on.

The party, which will take place at the Mandalay Beach Club Tuesday, is being hosted by Advanstar Licensing in association with the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association.

The event is sponsored by Sony Pictures Entertainment’s The Smurfs 2, alongside Loudmouth Gold, artist Christina Bynum-Breaux and licensing agency D3M, which represents musical artist Flo Rida, who will co-host the event.

One of the highlights of the event will be an appearance by Flo Rida alongside his official DJ, DJ Kronik, who will play throughout the event.

The Smurfs-themed event will also feature a wait staff decked out in Loudmouth golf apparel and gift bags showcasing the work of artist Christina Bynum-Breaux.

“‘More networking opportunities is the No. 1 request we hear from attendees and exhibitors at Licensing Expo, so we partnered with LIMA to combine the two smaller events we both typically do into one big opening night networking party for the entire industry,” say Chris DeMoulin, president, Advanstar Licensing.
