Licensing Expo China officially opened its doors welcoming leading industry thought leaders from around the world.

LEC is the premier tradeshow dedicated to the licensing industry in the world’s fastest-growing market. This year’s event welcomed back exhibitors including Alpha, China Literature, Tencent, PPW, FANTAWILD, WinSing Animation, iQIYI and more. New exhibitors also include Warner Bros., IMG, Yale University, Smiley, Bona Film Group, WANDA and China Film Group.

The scale of LEC has almost doubled compared with last year, showing the potential of China's licensing market. Co-located with Children Baby Maternity Expo, the event is expected to attract over 51,000 visitors this year.

This year’s event comes following the China Licensing Conference. The one-day pre-LEC program saw presentations from industry leaders such as NASCAR, Activision-Blizzard, Tencent, Alibaba and Warner Bros. Hosted by Licensing Expo China and Licensing International, the ticketed event covered topics such as brand crossovers, esports and local-based entertainment.
