LEGO and Nickelodeon will debut a new event, Play Fair, featuring play experiences and live performances from top brands, this year at New York Toy Fair, Feb. 13-14.

Presented by LEGO and Nickelodeon and hosted by the Toy Industry Association and LeftField Media, Play Fair will feature brands such as Hasbro, Mattel, Marvel, Cartoon Network, Crayola, Bandai, Toys ‘R’ Us and Warner Bros.

“We’re thrilled at the response to Play Fair,” says Greg Topalian, president, LeftField Media. “We have dozens of toys and entertainment brands signed on to offer one-of-a-kind experiences, and we know attendees will have a playful weekend to remember.”

Among the Play Fair experiences will be:

  • The new Batmobile from Warner Bros. Pictures’ Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

  • An exclusive "PAW Patrol" slide and photo session with "PAW Patrol" costume characters including the newest pup, Tracker, who will join the series this fall.

  • Building a LEGO car to race against other LEGO builders.

  • Exploring the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" tunnels while mimicking the Turtles’ moves with magic mirror technology.

  • An interactive "Thomas & Friends" experience from Mattel.

  • The opportunity to purchase exclusive collectible toys.

Additionally, there will be live performances during Play Fair including:

  • Meet-and-greets with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora, Power Rangers, Peppa Pig and more.

  • The cast of Nickelodeon’s show “Game Shakers” will host a panel on Saturday to debut their new app.

  • Photo opportunities with Shopkins’ mascot characters.

  • A presentation by Erik Varszegi, LEGO master builder, with insider tips on creating LEGO masterpieces.

Play Fair will be divided into four sessions with morning sessions from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and afternoon sessions from 3 p.m.-7p.m.

Tickets for Play Fair are available for $30 at PlayFairNY.com/tickets and select retailers in New York City. A VIP Weekend Experience pass is also available for $145, which includes priority admission to all four Play Fair session and a collectible exclusive Play Fair figure.
