The Korea-based licensing trade show will take place at the Coex exhibition space in Seoul next month.

ASIA–The 16th annual Korea Character Licensing Fair is set to take place July 12-16 in Seoul, South Korea, with more than 300 companies and 1,000 booths.

KCLF, formerly known as the Seoul Character & Licensing Fair, is organized by Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and the Coex mall exhibition space and is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

A raft of character brands, properties, animation, cartoons, games, broadcast and telecommunication, entertainment, digital, toy, stationery, publishing and fashion brands will all be on display, with hundreds of new brands set to appear at the show.

Last year, the event hosted an estimated 120,000 visitors from all over the world and is anticipating 130,000 visitors to this year’s show.

In addition, this year’s event will host a series of networking events, a character food truck zone and a character parade. It will also feature a K-Pop performance and magic show during the opening ceremony and welcome reception.

KCLF 2017 will also feature an upgraded business zone, which will offer attendees a more convenient place for business meetings.
