Hong Kong Readies for Licensing Show

The Hong Kong Int’l Licensing Show and Asian Licensing Conference will feature a host of brands, seminars and more.

This year’s International Licensing Show, which is organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, will feature more than 370 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions and will highlight more than 900 brands and licensed properties.

Additionally, the show will spotlight various categories, including animation, edutainment, art and design, fashion, lifestyle and food and beverage. Exhibitors include licensors and brands such as Caterpillar, Warner Bros., Sanrio, MTV, Nickelodeon, Rainbow, Smiley, Twentieth Century Fox, IMG, LMCA and Global Icons, among others.

Additionally, three new lounges–Van Gogh Senses, OMQ Dining Room and Ori-Princess Café–will be set up to create a more dynamic experience for food and beverage licensing during the show. Another feature of this year’s show is the Hong Kong Creative Gallery,

which will continue to promote local creativity and showcase approximately 70 local licensing properties from Hong Kong’s young designers and illustrators.

Alongside the Licensing Show, the Asian Licensing Conference, Jan. 9-10, will see roughly 27 global licensing experts share industry insights at the venue.
