Building on the success of the previously-held NYC Summit: The Business of Brand Licensing, this two-day conference will take place next Mar. 16 and 17 at the Hilton Midtown Manhattan in New York City, New York.

Licensing has become an increasingly popular tool for driving marketing and business initiatives across all categories to extend a brand’s presence and to reach new audiences. Revenue resulting from licensed goods and services has witnessed year-over-year growth generating $271.6 billion globally in 2017, according to Licensing International’s 2018 Annual Global Licensing Industry Survey.

The new Licensing Leadership Summit will showcase a comprehensive conference program that will reflect the evolution of the licensing industry, focusing on licensing strategies, emerging categories, retail and consumer trends, and leadership. The event will be delivered via a partnership between Informa Connect and Informa Markets, both divisions of Informa.

“Our experience in licensing and brand extension, combined with Informa Connect’s expertise in delivering large-scale, thought-leadership conferences in retail, media and innovation, allows us to offer a reimagined event for leaders looking to grow their businesses,” says Jessica Blue, senior vice president, Global Licensing Group, Informa Markets. “We look forward to enhancing the attendee experience, introducing purposefully curated conference content that enables licensing and business professionals to work in concert and learn from one another in an intimate setting.”
