“The entire world shifted on its axis and we stopped doing business as we knew it,” said Malysz, who set the stage of exactly how all of our lives were upended by the chaos and uncertainty of COVID-19 in 2020.
Malysz shared the immense challenges of losing live events, tradeshows, sporting events and movie theater showings in the backdrop of companies losing staff, families losing loved ones and entire industries being disrupted at their very core.
Malysz discussed several categories including toys, health and wellness, food and beverage and more. Despite the grave challenges of 2020, Malysz shined a light on the major wins the licensing industry was able to enjoy this year including games, homewares, kitchenware items and more.
