EUROPE–Brand Licensing Europe is highlighting the vast diversity and creativity of licensed products targeted toward adults through its revamped Product Showcase in the Brands & Lifestyle Zone.

This year’s updated Showcase features more than 20 exhibitors that have donated close to 200 licensed products representing 60 brands and a host of categories including apparel, health and beauty, food and drink accessories, giftware, electronics and furniture.

For example, from the museum/heritage sector, Historic Royal Palaces is showcasing items from The Palace Collection with Hobbs, which is launching this fall. Other examples include the Natural History Museum, which donated a range of greeting cards produced in partnership with Moonpig, as well as V&A and IWM, which submitted giftware to the Showcase. In addition, the Showcase is presenting products like Matthew Williamson wallpaper, a Black & Decker pressure washer and an Energizer jump starter kit.

“We are delighted to feature in this year’s product showcase at Brand Licensing Europe. It is a great opportunity for us to present our new collaborations and collections of palace inspired designs from our licensees. This includes high-street fashion retailer Hobbs and homewares licensee Turtle Mat as well as GP & J Baker, who joined the Historic Royal Palaces licensing program in 2016 and have since launched a very successful, award winning global interior fabrics collection,” says Jenny Smyth, licensing manager, Historic Royal Palaces. “The product showcase is an excellent opportunity for retailers and other potential partners to view our collections. We are excited to hear their feedback and hope this will lead to new business opportunities and also encourage people to visit our stand to see even more of our collections.”

Exhibitors taking part in the Product Showcase include: Historic Royal Palaces, Chupa Chups, Beanstalk, Natural History Museum, Global Icons, V&A, CAA-GBG, IBML, Metrostar, Alchemy, Licensing, Juventus FC, Dutexdor, Imperial War Museum, Pink Key Consulting, Brandgenuity, JELC, Bavaria Sonar Licensing, Art Ask Agency, Science Museum Group, TF1, Golden Goose and Kitkase.

Brands participating include: Black & Decker, Stanley, Paris Hilton, Bailey’s, Chupa Chups, Jack Daniel’s, Jeep, Coca-Cola, Nicole Scherzinger, Krispy Kreme, Pringles, Playmobil, Oasis, Men’s Health, All Blacks and Kangol.

“This year’s BLE Product Showcase is a sophisticated retail outlet with products being displayed as they would in-store, including Matthew Williamson wallpaper backdrops, homeware displayed beautifully, clothing hung on rails ready for browsing…everything in the ‘store’ will be product that retailers can sell,” says Anna Knight, brand director, BLE. “By shining a light on the sheer variety and diversity of licensed products from this area of the industry we can show retailers just how innovative brands and licensees are and inspire and encourage them to think about stocking new–and wider–ranges.”

Additionally, Mojo Nation is hosting a Toy & Game Innovation Zone, which showcases some of the most interesting examples of licensed toys and games launched within the past year, as well as a preview of some of the hottest new lines coming this holiday season and beyond. The Zone also allows visitors to be hands-on with products and features the designers responsible for creating the toys.

Brand Licensing Europe, which is organized by UBM and sponsored by LIMA, will take place this week, Oct. 10-12, at London’s Olympia.
