The competition is open to any new property with its roots in publishing, art and design, television or digital media. Entries are reviewed by a panel of experts, who will shortlist four properties. These finalists will pitch their brand to the panel in front of a live audience at BLE on Oct. 15. ?

The 2014 winner was RaNT!, a fun and irreverent character who has something to say about the bits of modern life that really get on our nerves. Created by Adam Bestwick of Fourth Wall Brands, RaNT! has gained momentum since scooping up the award with current partnerships lunchware and stationery offerings from John Lewis.
