Advanstar Licensing, organizers of Licensing Expo, the world’s largest and most influential entertainment, brand and art licensing trade show announced today that AwesomenessTV will exhibit at Licensing Expo 2015 for the first time.

AwesomenessTV, a wholly owned subsidiary of DreamWorks Animation, is leading the way how content is created and distributed across multiple platforms, empowering digital content creators and connecting brands with creators to produce branded content. They are at the forefront of the entertainment revolution, achieving nearly a billion of views per month.

“Licensing and merchandising provides a great way for our audience to engage with the AwesomenessTV brand in addition to creating new revenue streams for our digital native talent,” says Jim Fielding, global head of consumer products and retail, AwesomenessTV.  “As a next generation media company focused on teens, we are excited to be exhibiting at Licensing Expo for the first time.”

DreamWorks Animation has exhibited at Licensing Expo for 12 years. Jeffrey Katzenberg, cofounder and chief executive officer of DreamWorks Animation delivered a standing-room only opening keynote at the 2014 show in June.

“As the hub of the global licensing community, Licensing Expo is delighted to welcome AwesomenessTV, one of the leading multi channel networks,” says Jessica Blue, vice president, Licensing Expo. “We know that our retailers and licensees will welcome the opportunity to connect with them and explore licensing and brand extension possibilities.”

More than 15,700 licensing professionals attended Licensing Expo 2014 and 482 exhibiting companies participated. Licensing Expo 2015 takes place June 9-11, 2015 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev.  For more information, visit www.licensingexpo.com.
