Knockout Licensing has announced two new U.S. licensees for the award-winning British TV series “Downton Abbey.”
Workman Publishing has created a Downton Abbey 2013 planner and Wonder-Shirts will release a line of t-shirts and tote bags in time for the holiday shopping season.
The Workman Downton Abbey 2013 Engagement Diary features images and lines of dialogue from the popular show.
“Nothing beats ‘Downton Abbey’ for its sheer entertainment value, and this elegant, week-at-a-glance datebook celebrates the series with dozens of full-color photographs and quotes,” says Janet Harris, calendar publisher, Workman. “It’s the perfect gift and just in time to mark the U.S. premiere of season three.”
Season three began airing in the U.K. Sept. 16 and will debut in the U.S. on PBS Masterpiece Theater Jan. 6, 2013.
Also in time for the holiday season, will be a line of t-shirts and tote bags from Wonder-Shirts, which will be available via online and catalog retailers including Signals and PBS.
Knockout Licensing is actively seeking additional licensing partners for men’s and women’s apparel, hats, formalwear, accessories, housewares, tableware, linens and home furnishings.
