The Licensing Awards has unveiled the finalists for the six 2013 best licensed property categories, which were selected by a panel of retailers and licensees.

“The contenders in the licensed property categories stand as testament to the dynamism which is inherent in this ever-evolving industry,” says Ian Hyder, joint managing director, Max Publishing, sponsor of the annual event. “There is an impressive array of finalists from right across the spectrum, newer entertainment properties which have really ‘hit the spot’ in the last year to real stalwart brands that have successfully wielded the power of their heritage while maintaining their relevance in today’s challenging market place.”

Finalists in the product and marketing communication and retailer categories were previously announced and can be viewed here.
