The Tetris Company has appointed Dentsu as its licensing and advertising agent for its Tetris brand in Japan.

Licensing agent will bring branded home, lifestyle and apparel products to Japan.

Dentsu will seek advertising, co-promotional and licensing opportunities and plans to bring a range of Tetris-branded home and lifestyle items, including apparel, party supplies, kitchenware, computer accessories and more, to brick-and-mortar and online retailers in the region.

Dentsu also plans to target fashion-focused consumers though Tetris designs, DJ events and other initiatives. Dentsu will utilize advertising tie-ins with its range of clients.

Under the agreement, Dentsu will also license Tetris rights for pachinko and pachislot machines.
