Bento Box Entertainment has expanded its international footprint with the opening of Sutikki U.K. and the appointment of Stephen Gould as the new territory head for the U.K. and EMEA.

The new office will initially focus on growing its new kids and family business, Sutikki, which launched last October.

Meanwhile, Gould will concentrate on growing licensing opportunities for “Moon and Me,” a new children’s series from Foundling Bird, which is being produced in partnership with Sutikki.

Before joining Sutikki, Gould was the managing director for the U.K. and Eire at CPLG, where he worked on properties such as Minions, Jurassic World, The Secret Life of Pets, “Teletubbies,” “In the Night Garden,” “Sesame Street,” “Care Bears” and “Star Trek,” among many others. He has also held senior licensing positions with HIT Entertainment, Zodiak Entertainment and 4Kids Entertainment.

“In addition to being a fellow Ragdoll alumnus, Stephen has a raft of experience and an enviable pedigree within the licensing industry, and I am honored that he will be joining our growing team,” says Andrew Kerr, co-founder, Sutikki. “Sutikki was founded to be an international venture, and the opening of our first European office formalizes our commitment to being a full-service, worldwide business in less than six months from our launch.”

Sutikki will formally open its London-based office this summer, with initial recruiting currently underway.
