NUREMBERG: Sakar Adds Top Brands

Sakar's Shopkins range, created under license by Moose Toys, will be available in the U.S., the U.K., Europe and Australia this spring. The line will feature characters such as Strawberry Kiss, Apple Blossom and Kooky Cookie and include digital and video cameras, Bluetooth speakers, CD karaoke machines, karaoke microphone stands, musical instruments, wearable fitness monitors, smartphone cases, selfie sticks and more. The collection marks the brand's entry into the electronics category in the U.K., Europe and Australia.

“We got a small collection of branded Shopkins electronics to market in the U.S. in time for the 2015 holiday, but this expanded line will quadruple the number of SKUs available and roll out to three continents simultaneously,” says Liza Abrams, vice president of global licensing,

The new collection will be released to coincide with the premiere of

Batman v Superman

on March 25 and will be distributed throughout the U.K. and EMEA.

Finally, Sakar will also develop a line of branded electronics for DreamWorks Animation’s

Trolls

. The

Trolls-

inspired line will feature headphones, walkie-talkies, karaoke machines, boom boxes, digital cameras and more, with other products in the works.

The new collection will debut in the U.K. and throughout Europe when

Trolls

debuts in late October.
