The U.K. licensing industry charity The Light Fund raised £12,000 at its recent St. Patrick’s Day fundraising event.
On March 17, more than 200 licensors, licenses and retailers joined the charity at Manchester’s Bierkeller bar. This year’s event was a race night–involving both horses and pigs–and also included a raffle and singing.
The event was organized by The Light Fund’s Northern Committee, which includes representatives from GB Wye, Roy Lowe & Sons, Aykroyds & Sons, Dreamtex and William Lamb.
