Latin American licensing agency will represent the entertainment company in multiple new territories.

NBCUniversal Brand Development has appointed Tycoon Enterprises to represent its licensing and merchandising interests across a number of Latin American countries.

In addition to Mexico, Chile and Peru, Tycoon will now represent the entertainment company across Central America, Caribbean, Colombia and Ecuador.

Tycoon’s appointment comes after four years of successful collaboration between Universal Pictures and the licensing firm, which has carried out retail and promotional programs for Despicable Me 2, Minions and Jurassic World.

“Working with NBCUniversal Brand Development on such amazing properties and being exposed to so much talent has been a rewarding experience for every member of our team,” says Arturo Czonstkowsky, senior vice president, Tycoon. “We look forward to seeing the kind of success we have experience this far in Mexico, Chile and Peru unfold in the newly appointed territories under our management.”
