Jill Barad, former chairman and CEO of Mattel, wins a Key to the Dreamhouse alongside her Women in Toys Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 13th Annual Wonder Women Awards Gala honored industry leaders in toys, licensing and entertainment last Sunday evening at a special event during New York Toy Fair.

Jennifer Bennett of Mattel took home the award in the licensing category; meanwhile, Andre Lake Mayer of Zag took home the award in the entertainment category.

Other winners that were honored include:

  • Wonder Woman in Manufacturing–Laura Zebersky of Jazwares

  • Wonder Woman in Marketing– Lisa Wuennemann of PlayMonster

  • Wonder Woman in Rising Star–Karen Kilpatrick of JazWings; Kathryn Hardy of Disney; Marissa DiBartolo of Toy Book; Nikki Kennamer of Hasbro; Stephanie Haggerty of Moose Toys; and Julie Kerwin of IAmElemental.

WIT Also honored actress and activist Geena Davis with a Gamechanger Award, former chairman and chief executive officer of Mattel, Jill Barad, with a Lifetime Achievement Award, and ChiTag founder Mary Couzin with the Elyse Lachowyn Mentorship Award.
