Disney and other licensors see declines amidst recent stock market fluctuations.

All of the top 10 global licensors have seen declines (with the exception of DreamWorks) since last Thursday when the market took a nosedive following hints of an economic slowdown in China. In that time, the Dow has dropped a total of 1,328 points.
Hardest struck among this group has been General Motors, which is down 11.54% since Thursday, and Hasbro, which is down 8.13%, although all 10 licensors have seen declines of at least 2 percent.
The world's largest licensor, The Walt Disney Company, was down 4.13%, a decline that follows on a previous drop earlier this month spurred by the news that ESPN subscriptions had fallen. DreamWorks is one of the only companies to have seen gains during this period. After a sharp decline on Thursday, the studio's stock quickly rebounded Friday and has seen very little fluctuation since.
