The father-son duo will sign Masked Republic's “Luchaverse: Solar & Super Astro - Los Cadetes del Espacio” comic books and photos as they celebrate Solar’s 45th year in wrestling.

Having wrestled for more than 3 decades, Solar is the focus of PBS documentary “Tales of Masked Men,” is often touted as the grandmaster of Lucha Libre and has been credited with the expansion of Lucha Libre into Japan and is considered a “Maestro de Maestros” in the sport.

Solar, along with his legendary trios’ partner Super Astro, are featured in the comic book series “Luchaverse: Solar & Super Astro - Los Cadetes del Espacio,” which Masked Republic is working to now develop for film and television.

Masked Republic’s licensing agent Firefly will be hosting the duo on Tuesday, June 4 at 2-4 p.m. to celebrate the anniversary of the sport’s most famous mask and introduce Solar Jr. as one of the most watchable and upcoming Lucha Libre wrestlers to the licensing community.
