New division will extend licensing opportunitites in Asia for entertainment and lifestyle brands.

LMCA has formed LMCA OASIS Lifestyle Asia to assist entertainment and lifestyle brands develop products and distribution strategies in China and ASEAN countries.

The new extended licensing service will combine lifestyle and entertainment property experience with brand licensing expertise.

LOLA’s leadership team will consist of executives who have served with global media and entertainment companies including Hanna-Barbera, Playboy and Yahoo, as well as executives who have extensive experience working with content producers to create licensing programs in Asia.

“LOLA extends the licensing services LMCA currently provides its clients,” says Allan Feldman, chief executive officer, LMCA. “China and ASEAN markets hold strong potential, but are not easy to crack. We saw that many entertainment and lifestyle companies have yet to crack the code in China and ASEAN and could benefit from the experience and proven track-record the LOLA team provides.”
