The Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association U.K. has revealed details of its annual global networking party at Brand Licensing Europe, which will take place on the second day of the show, Oct. 8, from 5:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m. at the Mayfair Hotel, Sutton Street.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the body dedicated to promoting Hong Kong trade and opportunities, will sponsor the event for the second time.

"Our networking event has really come of age, and once again we want to make our party one of the highlights of BLE," says Kelvyn Gardner, managing director, LIMA U.K. "We are very pleased that the Hong Kong Trade Development Council has decided to come on board as sponsor for the second time. This demonstrates the level of international interest in the licensing industry and the opportunities that it offers worldwide."

Last year, LIMA welcomed more than 200 licensing professionals from companies including Turner, BBC Worldwide, Saban, CBS and 20th Century Fox.

Guests will enjoy drinks and canapés, as well as a plethora of networking opportunities, in the five-star hotel's Crystal Room.

"HKTDC is delighted to sponsor LIMA's global networking party for the second year," says Stephen Wong, regional director, Europe, HKTDC, who will deliver a brief address at the event. "It is a wonderful networking occasion, and it further reinforces the close relationship we enjoy with LIMA. The reception is a great way of highlighting the huge growth expected in the licensing market in Asia, and Hong Kong's advantages as a platform for doing business in the region."

Tickets to the event cost £50 +VAT for LIMA members and £100 +VAT for non-members and can be purchased now at LIMAGlobalNetworking.EventBrite.co.uk.
