The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association has undertaken its first-ever comprehensive survey of the global licensing business. The new survey is designed to calculate the size of the trademark licensing business globally, with a focus on a wide range of key countries and regions (previous surveys had focused primiarily on the U.S. and Canada).

The initial results of this report will be presented in June at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, Nev.

The information-gathering process is already underway, and industry professionals from around the world have been asked to participate by filling out a brief survey about their licensing activities, which can be accessed here. The deadline to complete the questionnaire is April 6.
