The Light Fund, the U.K.'s charitable body for the licensing industry, has named 16 beneficiaries for the more than £90,000 it raised in 2014.

Created in 2004, The Light Fund (The Licensing Industry Giving Help Together) is an industry-wide charity that raises monies for charitable projects.

“We are delighted to be able to support these amazing charities with our 2014 fund,” says David Scott, treasurer, The Light Fund. “We are grateful for the continued endorsement of The Light Fund by the entire licensing industry, who, once again, have helped us raise an incredible sum of money. Their generosity has helped to make a difference to many people’s lives.”

The Light Fund has chosen the following charities as beneficiaries:

  • The Brain Tumour Charity

  • Challenge Africa

  • Children’s Brain Tumour Foundation

  • The Children’s Trust

  • Children with Cancer UK

  • Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity

  • Hearing Dogs for Deaf People

  • MS-UK

  • New Life

  • Orchid Cancer Trust

  • Prostate Cancer UK

  • Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity

  • Royal Free Hospital

  • Spread a Smile

  • The Venture Force Foundation

  • Whizz-Kidz
