Rubie’s, Bioworld are the latest licensees to announce acquisitions and integrations.
Almost across the board, the companies involved in these various deals have cited the chance to increase manufacturing reach and efficiency as the key driver behind the moves.
In similar news, Bioworld Merchandising announced that it has finished its integration of BWI Merchandising and re-branded the newly combined company as Bioworld International. Bioworld expects the integration to vastly improve its global design and distribution capabilities, as well increase speed to market.
For its part, Rubie’s says that the acquisition of BuySeasons will give the costume company access to more efficient fulfillment operations,and BuySeason sees similar advantages in combining forces, citing the chance to “enhance our worldwide sourcing abilities.”
