According to the annual report, IMG remains the world’s largest agency, representing more than 30 brands and personalities and generating $8.1 billion in retail sales of licensed merchandise.
The Top 30 Global Licensing Agents represent many of the world’s most recognizable brands and account in total for almost $50 billion in retail sales of licensed merchandise. Fifteen licensing agencies reported $1 billion or more in retail sales.
LMCA ranked No. 2, reporting $6.4 billion in retail sales of licensed merchandise for its clients, most notably its largest licensor, Westinghouse, which ranked No. 13 on the Top 150 Global Licensors, reporting $3.9 billion in retail sales.
Equity Management ranked No. 3, reporting $5.5 billion in retail sales; The Licensing Company ranked No. 4, reporting $3.8 billion in retail sales; and The Beanstalk Group
