License! Global has released the new Top 30 Global Licensing Agents list.

In conjunction with the release of the exclusive Top 150 Global Licensors report, License! Global has also updated its Top 30 Global Licensing Agents list.

According to the annual report, IMG remains the world’s largest agency, representing more than 30 brands and personalities and generating $8.1 billion in retail sales of licensed merchandise.

The Top 30 Global Licensing Agents represent many of the world’s most recognizable brands and account in total for almost $50 billion in retail sales of licensed merchandise. Fifteen licensing agencies reported $1 billion or more in retail sales.

LMCA ranked No. 2, reporting $6.4 billion in retail sales of licensed merchandise for its clients, most notably its largest licensor, Westinghouse, which ranked No. 13 on the Top 150 Global Licensors, reporting $3.9 billion in retail sales.

Equity Management ranked No. 3, reporting $5.5 billion in retail sales; The Licensing Company ranked No. 4, reporting $3.8 billion in retail sales; and The Beanstalk Group ranked No. 5, reporting $3.6 billion in retail sales.
