magazine, Jessica Blue, vice president of Licensing Expo, and Ben Lashes the meme manager for Grumpy Cat will host a special Licensing 101 session at New York Toy Fair Saturday.

Taking place at 1:30 p.m. in Hall 1E Room 1E17 of the Javits Center, "Licensing 101: The Basics of Licensing Explained" will discuss how the right brand and character partners can grow and change the businesses of retailers and manufacturers.

Ekstract and Blue will give an overview of how licensing works, successful business models that can be implemented and the top trends for 2015, while Lashes will share the Grumpy Cat story and offer a licensing case study.

The event is part of the NY Toy Fair's daylong Licensing Content Connection program, which is available to Toy Industry Association members for $99 and non-members for $129.
