Apparel and children’s industries charity K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers has named Lisa Gurwitch as its new president and chief executive officer.

Apparel and children’s industries charity K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers has named Lisa Gurwitch as its new president and chief executive officer.

The charity focuses on donating new apparel, home and children’s products to families in need.

Gurwitch brings more than two decades of experience in non-profit management, charitable gift planning, fundraising and philanthropy, having most recently served as senior vice president for institutional advancement and external relations at World Learning. A past officer and board member of more than 40 charitable and professional organizations and foundations, Gurwitch is a frequent speaker on philanthropy, legacy and charitable gifts.

“It is an honor to be selected to lead K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, with its dedicated board, staff, partners and supporters, all of whom share a passion for helping to alleviate the effects of poverty and disaster,” says Gurwitch. “I look forward to developing additional resources and visibility to multiply our efforts, especially during 2015 as we commemorate the milestones of 30 years of K.I.D.S. and 10 years of Fashion Delivers’ impact.”
