K.I.D.S. Honors WBCP’s Buckner

K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, recognized three top leaders from fashion, real estate and entertainment Tuesday in New York City.

This year’s honorees included Patti Buckner, vice president of apparel and accessories at Warner Bros. Consumer Products; Celeste Gudas, chief executive officer and founder of executive search firm 24 Seven; and Deidre Quinn, president and co-founder of fashion design company Lafayette 148 New York.

Local TV personality Jessica Abo hosted the ceremonies. 

“Every day I’m fortunate to be able to use my years as a retail apparel buyer and combine that with the excitement of the world of entertainment,” said WBCP’s Buckner in an interview with K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers. “Working with talented, smart people who are equally as committed to make great product, sometimes take a risk and support our brands is such a thrill.”

Other attendees included Joyce Brown, president of Fashion Institute of Technology; Jean Butler, executive director of the Toy Industry Foundation; Dana Buchman, fashion designer; and Abbey Doneger, president and chief executive officer of The Doneger Group.  

K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers board chairs Gary Simmons, chief executive officer of Gerber Childrenswear, and Allan Ellinger, senior managing director of MMG, Inc. were also in attendance as well as interim president Joel Newman, former chief operating officer of Kenneth Cole and Tommy Hilfiger.
