Iconix Brand Group brings Strawberry Shortcake to Japan with Sony Creative Products.
Iconix Brand Group has appointed Sony Creative Products as the Japanese licensing agent for the Strawberry Shortcake brand.
Starting this month, SCP plans to continue to build the brand by developing marketing and business strategies as well as utilizing its strong licensing network for events, promotions, media and merchandising development.
Iconix acquired Strawberry Shortcake in March 2015 and has continued to develop the brand through a CG-animated TV show and mobile apps.
In addition to Strawberry Shortcake, SCP has served as the long-standing agent for the Peanuts brand in Japan.
