Iconix Brand Group has completed its acquisition of the Strawberry Shortcake brand and appointed Cathy Hoffman Glosser to lead its development.

"We are excited to be adding Strawberry Shortcake to our portfolio, and expanding the Iconix entertainment division which is a key area of growth for our company," says Neil Cole, chairman and chief executive officer, Iconix Brand Group. "Strawberry Shortcake is a great complement to our existing entertainment business, and between Peanuts and Strawberry Shortcake we have a tremendous global platform that includes relationships with top entertainment companies around the world."

Glosser will step into the role of senior vice president of licensing and retail business development for the company's entertainment division. Glosser will report to Leigh Ann Brodsky, managing director, Peanuts Worldwide and Iconix Entertainment.

Glosser will also work to grow Iconix Entertainment. She joins Iconix from the Trump Organization, where she was executive vice president of global licensing for close to 11 years, and has also spent time at Marvel and Saban.
