Licensing agency to serve as new worldwide licensing rep for the PGA Tour.

Fermata Partners has been appointed as the exclusive trademark licensing representative for the PGA Tour across a range of categories.

Fermata, a division of CAA Sports, will now manage and develop the PGA Tour’s core domestic and international retail licensing program.

“We are very excited to announce this relationship with such a highly respected and accomplished agency,” says Lance Stover, vice president, new ventures and licensing, PGA Tour. “The team at Fermata Partners and CAA Sports have an extensive background and knowledge of the sports and licensing industry and our brand will benefit from their expertise.”

Fermata will work to expand the PGA Tour's retail licensing business and the brand’s presence within the consumer marketplace, which currently consists of more than 100 licensees in categories from apparel to video games.

The PGA Tour’s current registered trademarks include the primary PGA Tour mark, PGA Tour Champions, Web.com Tour, professional tours in Canada and Latin America, The Players Championship, The Presidents Cup, FedEXCup and other co-sanctioned and third-party operated PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions event marks.

The PGA Tour was previously represented for licensing worldwide by IMG.

“We are thrilled to strategically align with the PGA Tour, one of the most globally recognizable brands in sports, and look forward to collaborating with our new partners to further cultivate and grow its brand and consumer product offerings worldwide,” says Kit Walsh, founding partner, Fermata.
