"In a moment of madness (very possibly the result of a mid-life crisis) I decided to run the London Marathon and am now deep into my training, which is leading to pain beyond imagining and problems with muscles I didn’t even know I had,” says Hyder. “However it’s all for a fantastic cause and although I can’t say I will be troubling the leaders when race day comes, I can promise that I will be doing everything necessary to make sure I cross that finish line. I’m hoping that everybody in licensing will want to get behind me and give what they can to help raise a whole heap of cash for The Light Fund.”
