Endemol Shine Group has called upon various banks to evaluate a possible sale, according to Variety.

Endemol Shine Group,  one of the world’s largest distribution and international TV groups whose portfolio of programming includes “MasterChef,” “Peaky Blinder,” “Big Brother” and more. The group is jointly owned by 21st Century Fox and Apollo, a private equity group.

CNBC, who broke the story, said that the owners have agreed to sell if an appropriate buyer is found and that LionTree and Deutsche Bank have been tapped to facilitate the process. The deal has been appraised at $4 billion, including debt.

In 2014, Endemol and Shine merged to create a largescale company. In its current form, the group supports multiple global production companies as well as global content sales operation Endemol Shine International.
