Ellestone Apparel has taken a strategic stake in Monitane Holdings, the holding company of U.K. clothing manufacturer The Fielding Group.

Among Fielding’s licenses are Manchester United, Arsenal, Disney, Sesame Street and Warner Bros. The company has also developed a number of high-profile celebrity brands including Farrell menswear for Robbie Williams and Kardashian Kollection ladies wear at Dorothy Perkins.

The new equity from Ellestone will function as expansion capital, allowing Fielding to continue building its U.K. business and manufacturing capacity.

Ellestone Apparel executives Bob Wigley, James Gallon and Dominic McVey will join the Monitane Holdings board.
