Independent brewery BrewDog has started making hand sanitizers at its Aberdeenshire distillery in response to shortages driven by COVID-19 fears.

The Brewgel Punk Sanitizer will be given away for free to those who are in need of it. The sanitizers will be given to local charities and the community rather than being sold.

The company says it will be “working around the clock” to produce batches of the product amid news of the pandemic outbreak.
