Brand Central will expand Pantone into categories such as fashion, stationery and more.

Global color authority Pantone, in partnership with its agent Crazy Bell Agency, has appointed Brand Central as its licensing representative for the U.S.

(Crazy Bell Agency represents the brand worldwide except in Japan.)

Brand Central will now work to find U.S.-based partners for Pantone in categories including fashion, home, stationery, technology and office.

“We are thrilled to have Brand Central as part of the Pantone family,” says Ron Potesky, senior vice president and general manager, Pantone. “We know that their relationships and expertise in the fashion and lifestyle industry will serve Pantone well in expanding our brand presence through consumer products here in the U.S.”

Pantone, known for its color matching system created for the design community, has developed a worldwide consumer products program that provides a point of view on the use of color in various forms, as well as exclusive prints and patterns.

“Color is at the heart of design,” says Rebekah Belzer, vice president, fashion and lifestyle, Brand Central. “We are so excited to be working with Pantone, as we see great potential for so many product categories at best-in-class retailers throughout the U.S.”
